Castile soap was so named because of the olive oil soap that originated in the Castile region of Spain. However, that term is used very loosely today and it's very hard to find a 'real' Castile soap that is manufactured using the same process as the original. However, our Castile soap is made from 100% olive oil base, like the original. Our soap has goat's milk added to make this all natural soap even more luxurious. An excellent choice for those with sensitive skin, the soap is lightly scented with both lavender and lemongrass essential oils. A remarkable combination of scents and all natural ingredients!
